About Us

Originally purchased in 1953, Wheaton's Resort lies on the site of an old logging camp from turn-of-the-century Wisconsin. Though the current resort is a far cry from the days of old, Wheaton's Resort has developed quite a history of its own.

Longstanding traditions such as the annual corn roast, tomato contest, and bragging rights for impressive fish make the resort a truly special experience. The feeling of community is strong, and when folks from all walks of life and from all over the Midwest converge on the shores of Lake Poygan, the neighborly atmosphere makes Wheaton's Resort a home away from home.
